About Dressage On A Budget
This website is run by Jill Firth and Michael Hunt who have over 50 years experience with horses between them. Over the years they have owned some 24 horses and ponies and have successfully competed in Show and Working Hunters, Show Hacks and Show Pony classes. Following the retirement from the show ring of their most successful Large Hack - Careless Whisper - they switched to dressage and currently have an exciting selection of young dressage prospects which they are currently training and competing.

It soon became apparent that in Dressage, as in Showing, there are certain "must haves" where it comes to tack and equipment. Jill, being a McTimoney Animal Practitioner, puts the comfort of her horses first and this has led them to bring together a range of quality, innovative products that are fashionable, have the "in" factor but which are good for the horse as well as the rider.
